Ann and Sid Mashburn’s combined Georgetown store at 3206 N Street NW opened in fall 2015, bringing 7,200 square feet of men’s and women’s retail to a N Street block that positioned the shop one street north of M Street’s commercial traffic. The men’s and women’s stores are adjacent and connected, which allows Ann and Sid Mashburn to operate a combined visit efficiently while maintaining distinct buying identities for each half of the space. Ann Mashburn’s side carries women’s clothing, accessories, and shoes in a selection built around the same values that define the men’s operation: quality over volume, classic sensibility over trend, and a buying approach that reflects personal conviction rather than commercial risk management.

Ann and Sid Mashburn met while both were working in the fashion industry in New York. Sid opened the first Sid Mashburn men’s boutique in Atlanta in 2007, drawing on years of experience at brands including Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and J. Crew. The women’s store came three years later when a space opened adjacent to the men’s shop in Atlanta, and Ann took it as an opportunity rather than a plan. The premise was to carry the same curated, character-driven approach to women’s clothing that the men’s store applied to menswear. The Georgetown expansion was part of a deliberate national growth strategy that identified Washington as a city whose professional and social culture made it a natural fit for what the Mashburns were selling.

The women’s selection at Ann Mashburn covers the full wardrobe range: casual pieces, work-appropriate clothing, occasion wear, and accessories, assembled from a mix of the brand’s own label and other designers whose work meets the same standards. The in-house Ann Mashburn label applies the same approach the men’s label uses: classic shapes in quality materials, designed to be worn rather than displayed. The brand list changes based on what Ann Mashburn’s buyers find compelling, and the selection in the Georgetown store reflects that flexibility.

The N Street address is quieter than M Street, which is the point. The shop operates in a register that benefits from customers who arrive with some intention rather than on impulse from the main commercial strip. The personal styling service is available for clients who want a structured engagement with the selection, and the staff knowledge of the inventory is the kind that comes from working with the same curated range over time.

Hours run Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 5pm. The store is accessible from the Georgetown Circulator stop on Wisconsin Avenue, and street parking on N Street is more available than the M Street and Wisconsin Avenue blocks during peak hours.
