Customer Experience

Bespoke Aesthetics & Wellness occupies a pretty yellow row house on cobblestone P Street, its name spelled out in serif lettering across a white signboard above a pair of white-trimmed bay display windows — a few doors off Wisconsin Avenue, on the same short stretch as the neighborhood’s bookshop and tuxedo shop. It’s a boutique skincare studio rather than a clinical-looking med spa, and it runs by appointment only: you book online or call ahead, and there are no walk-ins.

The draw is how personal it is. Treatments begin with a consultation and are customized to your skin rather than sold off a fixed menu, and reviewers consistently describe a science-driven, no-pressure approach — careful record-keeping, honest product advice, and real results, especially for acne. That reputation shows up in the ratings: the studio holds roughly 4.8 stars across some 150 Yelp reviews.

Claim to Fame

The studio is the work of Adrienne Shostak, a Master Esthetician (LME) who trained in London — she opened her own clinic in Mayfair in 2008, ran it for about seven years, and brought the practice back to the US in 2014. Her focus on skin revision grew out of resolving her own acne and scarring, and it still defines the place: this is a licensed-esthetician skincare practice built around facials, chemical peels and enzyme therapy, microneedling, and laser and light treatments — not injectables.

The menu runs deep. Signature and advanced facials sit alongside specialties like microcurrent “non-surgical facelift” work, dermaplaning, lymphatic drainage, Secret RF radiofrequency microneedling, Laser Genesis, and IPL photofacials, plus brow and lash services. The work has earned recognition beyond the neighborhood — features in DC Modern Luxury and, per the studio, DMK “Clinic of the Year” honors three years running (2019–2021).

Pricing is published up front. A consultation runs $75 in person (or $50 virtually), customized facials start around $245, microneedling is $425, and more involved work — Secret RF microneedling, advanced peels, and laser packages — climbs into the high hundreds and beyond.

Preparing for Your Visit

Book before you go. This is an appointment-only studio with no walk-ins, so reserve online through the studio’s website or call (833) 642-2542; popular times fill ahead, so plan a little in advance.

Start with a consultation. Because treatments are tailored rather than one-size-fits-all, the consult ($75 in person, $50 virtual) is how you land on the right plan — come ready to talk through your skin history and goals.

As with the rest of this stretch of Georgetown, street parking on P and Wisconsin is tight — a garage in the Wisconsin Avenue or M Street corridor is the safer bet if you’re driving in.
