Framebridge opened this Georgetown location in November 2024 — the brand’s 29th store and, notably, a homecoming: Framebridge was founded in DC and originally operated out of Georgetown. There’s even a frame in the product line named “Georgetown.” The store features a hyperlocal gallery wall at the entrance showcasing neighborhood memorabilia — a Martin’s Tavern matchbook, a Patrick Ewing jersey, a C&O Canal print — which doubles as a working demonstration of what the service can do.
The model is straightforward: bring in anything that needs framing (art, photos, children’s artwork, diplomas, heirlooms, jerseys, maps), work with a design associate to choose frames, mats, and layout, and pick up the finished piece a few days later. Walk-ins are welcome without an appointment. Framing goes up to 40” x 60”. Prices are all-in — frame, acid-free mat, UV-protective glazing, backing, and hanging hardware — starting at $70 for small pieces.
Know Before You Go
No appointment needed — walk in, drop off, and a design associate will work through options with you. Turnaround for in-store orders varies; call ahead if you’re working against a deadline. For online orders, in-store pickup is available. The store carries Georgetown-specific curated pieces (starting at $99) if you want something local already framed and ready to hang.
